Experienced Scientist for Animal Health and Nutrition
Are you motivated to join a team working on solving one of the world’s biggest challenges – replacing antibiotics in animal production. Today we use in vivo and in vitro methods, based on relevant substrates, reflecting digestive conditions in the development of new enzymes. We want you to support the health and nutritional competence in animal production. You will be working closely with a team of highly skilled people having biochemistry, protein chemistry, human- and animal nutrition and in vitro models as their core competence. If you have the aspiration, this position could offer you the potential to become a thought leader within animal H&N science.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong profile in animal or human health, nutrition and physiology. You will have a previous record in academia or the industry and have experience with animal performance trials or in vitro systems. You will be a candidate who enjoys working in the lab and can lead the development of new in vitro systems for GIT simulation. Furthermore, we are seeking a person who can take on the people and thought leadership to develop this competence further in our organization.
The ideal candidate should have the below competencies/profile:
- 3+ years’ Post Doc experience level within animal or human health and nutrition
- Extensive experience with animal trials or in vitro systems reflecting health and nutrition is strongly preferred
- Experience with gut health and immunology or microbiology (intestinal microbiology)
- Enjoys hands on lab work
- Furthermore, you should have excellent communication and collaborative skills, since we operate in a global R&D setup
- Good networking competencies
