KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
Develop global communication strategy that supports key business priorities of the Food & Beverage Platform.
Establish the newly appointed marketing communications team to ensure both global and regional coverage
Act as one of the driving forces to build integrated communications plans to help drive business objectives and to add value by defining, driving, collaborating and orchestrating an integrated plan whilst continuously identifying areas of development and learning for future growth
Play key role representing the Communications team, ensuring close alignment with the marketing, sales teams and other functions as appropriate
Develop required elements of the communications mix (videos, collateral, e-publications, direct mails, advertising, PR et cetera) ensuring integrated execution across the different channels
Collaborate across the regions to drive targeted, relevant, and timely communications through an efficient and effective channel utilization and mix; ensuring message relevance and consistency always.
Define the communication strategy, challenging status quo and optimizing the mix of channels to create most impact and highest return on investment (PR, Web / Online, internal, SEO, social media, SEM and E-mail marketing, influencer relations, et cetera.)
Provides functional expertise in an area of marketing communications in order to effectively and efficiently deliver programs that deliver marketing and sales results across businesses
Prioritize and recommend marketing communication spend – identify opportunities to drive increased ROI.
Supervise content writing, development, production and delivery of marketing communications content
Lead a team of Global Marketing Communication Specialists
Member of Global Marketing Leadership team
Play an active role on the N&B Communications Leadership Team to ensure full alignment with overall N&B strategy, leveraging DuPont and N&B best practices, platforms and resources

Builds and strengthens relevant industry; ability to grasp all aspects of the business including technologies as well as market situation and competitive environment.
Ability to work in a cross-cultural environment.
Ability to manage outside vendors and 3rd party seminar presenters and agencies.
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Communications or a related discipline
- 8 plus years of related working experience; demonstrated skills in integrated communications – including event management & sponsorship, PR and digital communications
- Fluent in English – excellent written and verbal skills
- Experience with people management and leading a team
- Experience in the food industry a plus
- Relevant working experience with agencies and other organizations
- Seasoned user of the Microsoft Office family of products
- Able to travel between 20-30%
