David is currently a National Account Executive handling the corporate relationships between DuPont and major retail customers. In this role he is responsible for the management of DuPont’s Spray foam insulation and air sealing products, foam board insulation sheathing, DuPont Tyvek building envelope portfolio and Corian solid surfaces for these customers. This includes partnering with those retail customers in setting long term strategy, aligning corporate goals, and engaging in daily activities to grow their business.
David made his way to DuPont from several different acquisitions over the years initially starting his journey after separating from the United States Air Force in 1989. His 30 year career has given him the opportunity to work in various roles from laboratory technician to chemist to distribution channel manager to his current role as a National Account Executive.
Throughout his career David was also able to maintain an active role in serving his country in the West Virginia Air National Guard, retiring in 2018 after 32 year of service as both an enlisted member and officer. David served in many different roles in the active duty Air Force and WVANG and retired as a squadron commander. David participated in several deployments overseas and in the United States including Hurricane Katrina and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
David also currently serves as one of two co-chairs of the Dupont Veterans Network. In this role David advocates on veterans’ affairs and employment issues at the company. He also works to enhance the professional development of network members, supports the hiring and retention of veterans as a diverse talent pool, and helps new employees make a successful transition from military to civilian work.
